In today’s world, we have many different things going on to keep us busy. When your day off comes around, usually cleaning your home is the last thing you are happy to do with your spare time. We’ve come up with a great list of tips and tricks that you can do (very quickly) that will save you time in the long run. Check it out here in this month’s blog post:
- Assign days to do specific tasks. Such as Wednesdays, water the plants. Sundays, do laundry, and Thursdays sweep the floors. This will keep up with the housework, without making it overwhelming all at once.
- Keep your cleaning products close by. Such as the bathroom spray in the bathroom. And the kitchen degreaser placed under the sink. Instead of being stored away in a “cleaning closet,” you will have easier access to these products, giving way to using them more often for quick fixes.
- Take your shoes off at the door. An easy fix to rid your home and floors of unwanted dirt, debris, and germs.
- Make habits. Such as when you are making your lunch for work in the morning, take an extra 3-4 minutes to put the dishes away from the dishwasher. You’ll thank yourself for this when you return home from work!
These little chores will have a big impact if done consistently. Try some or all of them out yourself, and see if they help. Have another idea that works well for you? Post in the comments below, we would love to share and hear your ideas!
